TMC’S DIESEL COACHES RECEIVE MAKEOVER FOR 2018
Thor Motor Coach’s (TMC) 2019 diesel motorhome lineup has received high marks from consumers during the summer show season.
According to a press release, TMC redesigned the Tuscany from the ground up starting with a new basement structure and hydraulic slideout rooms, which greatly increased exterior storage. Five new full-body paint packages complete the Tuscany’s exterior transformation.
TMC is the first motorhome manufacturer in the industry to feature a pushbutton engine start, the company said. Other interior changes for 2018 include solid-surface entry steps, Multiplex Wiring System, Xite Dash Radio with Rand McNally RV Navigation, polished porcelain tile, and decorative ceiling treatment and furniture.
Palazzo motorhomes received a major overhaul for 2018 with a new front cap and full-body paint exterior graphics. New amenities include a decorative kitchen backsplash, window treatments, furniture and LED accent lighting. The Palazzo is also equipped with a user-friendly Axxera dash radio with 10-inch screen. Above the cockpit seating, a power drop-down overhead bunk can be lowered with the touch of a button and features the brand new Cotton Cloud mattress. Palazzo owners now have the option to choose from the same high-gloss glazed Amish crafted cabinetry found in Tuscany motorhomes.
Tuscany XTE received new porcelain tile flooring, kitchen backsplash and faucets as well as full-body paint packages. Just like Palazzo, the Tuscany XTE offers the Axxera dash radio with 10-inch screen. The Tuscany XTE’s 40BX floorplan was further upgraded with a bunk bed configuration. The smaller 34ST and 36MQ models allow consumers to maintain a luxury lifestyle in a smaller package.
